A 27-year real estate veteran, David Hicks is President of David Hicks Company, a Dallas based commercial real estate services firm.

During the past 12 years, David has represented Dal Briar Corporation in the planning, entitlement, development and sale of mixed use sites in:
o Twin Creeks a 2500 acre planned development in Allen, Texas;
o Plano Gateway a 225 acre planned development in Richardson and Plano, Texas; and
o Turnpike Commons West a 110 acre Planned Development in Richardson Texas.

He is also currently responsible for marketing and sales of the commercial portion of the Arts of Collin County performing arts center, a 124 acre project which includes sites for hotel, office, restaurant and retail.

From 2002 to 2006, David was Senior Vice President - Capital Division of Hillwood Development Company, LLC. There he was responsible for design, marketing and leasing office buildings in Victory Park, a mixed use development in downtown Dallas. He also originated the development of a 450 acre Hillwood residential project at Twin Creeks in Allen, Texas and was responsible for the acquisition, planning, entitlement and marketing of the 1,374 acre Bar BC Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. David was named “Outstanding Performer” for 2004 by Hillwood Capital.

From 1991 to 2002 David was Executive Vice President at the Bradford - Vantage Companies. Focused on landlord representation in office leasing, Hicks represented clients such as Equitable, Prudential and Litton Industries. He earned the Top Producer designations at Bradford in 1998, 1999 and 2000. In 2000, The Dallas Business Journal named him the "Number One Office Leasing Agent in Dallas”.

In 2002 Hicks was President of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and The Land Council as well as NTCAR.

Prior to Bradford David served with Bright Realty Corporation (1987-1991) and Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate (1984 - 1987). He is married to Mary Ellen and together they have four daughters ranging in age from 21 to 25. David is an Eagle Scout. He is an active member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church.

Notable transactions include:

• The rezoning of the 120 acre Plano Gateway mixed-use development in Plano into a new P.D.

• The rezoning of 22 acres in Twin Creeks, Allen, Texas for an age-restricted active senior development and the subsequent $4.6 million sale to the Aspens at Twin Creeks

• $10 million sale of 30.1 acres to Criterion Development Corporation for the development of a luxury multi-family development.

• $22.5 million sale and negotiation of a municipal economic incentive package for 62 acres of mixed use land in Richardson, Texas to Hall Financial Group.

• The acquisition, planning and development of the 1374 acre, $200 million Bar BC Ranch residential development in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

• The origination and negotiation of a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district with the City of Allen, Texas for infrastructure development at Twin Creeks.

• The planning and sale of sites in Richardson, Plano and Allen Texas for five Hilton hotels.

• The planning and development of the 180,000 square foot Turnpike Commons One office building and subsequent lease and sale of the building along with 60 adjacent acres to Cisco Systems in transactions totaling $82 million.

• Land sale and lease for the 225,000 square foot FBI Regional Headquarters and 60,000 square foot DEA offices.

• 195,000 square Foot EXE Technologies headquarters lease.

• 136,464 square foot Fleming Companies headquarters lease.

The Dallas Business Journal awarded the FBI Headquarters the “Best New Office Development in 2002”, the Cisco transaction the “Best Deal Announced in 2000” and the Fleming transaction the “Best Headquarters Relocation in 2000”.
